Never Underestimate God's Judgment and Mercy

One thing God takes satisfaction in is His righteous judgment. He takes pleasure in dismantling wickedness—and does so thoroughly. He leaves little trace of treacherous actions and behavior that displease Him. Yet, at the same time, His mercy is abundant. How is this possible?
God knows that many people find themselves in the midst of dysfunction through no fault of their own. Some are born into it, others cannot afford to escape it, and for some, chaos arrives unexpectedly. However, faith will always provide a way out!
Isaiah 19 documents the nation of Egypt—a land full of pride and idol worship—facing a harsh judgment of slavery and famine. Yet within this judgment, God makes a way for the righteous among them. In verse 19, it is written: "In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt..." The passage goes on to state that when those who know God call out to Him, He will deliver them from the punishment that Egypt faces.
God is limitless—able to work on many spectrums simultaneously. He delivers justice and salvation in the same moment. He enslaves the wicked while freeing the righteous in a single act. Unlike humans, He is not bound by limitation, and when we grasp this truth, we stand on an unshakable foundation.
A faith that leaves no room for fear—because we know that God is staunchly on our side!
